The terms on which we sell cardamom through this website, for retail buyers and for trade.
These terms apply when you buy from panasva.com, which is operated by Panasva, Spring Valley Plantations, Munnar–Thekkady Highway, Chathurangapara, Idukki 685554, Kerala, India. By placing an order you accept them.
We sell whole green cardamom grown, cured, graded and packed at our own estate. Cardamom is an agricultural product: pod size, shade of green and aroma vary a little between harvests within the graded specification, and that variation is normal rather than a defect. Photographs on this site are of our actual product but colour will differ between screens.
Nothing on this website is medical advice. Statements about the traditional uses of cardamom, including on our benefits page, are general information about a food and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition.
Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we confirm the order; payment is made in cash when it is delivered. We may decline an order, for example if a pack is out of stock, if the delivery address is outside the area we can reach, or if there has been an obvious pricing error. If we do, we will tell you, and nothing is owed.
Prices are in Indian Rupees and inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Delivery is charged at checkout where it applies; orders above ₹1,999 are delivered free within India. Prices may change, but the price that applies to your order is the one shown at the moment you place it.
Payment is cash on delivery: you pay the courier when the order arrives. We may refuse a cash-on-delivery order, for example to a pincode our courier does not serve, and we will tell you if we do.
We dispatch from Idukki by courier and send you the bill and tracking ID when the order leaves us. Delivery times depend on the courier and the destination, and are estimates rather than guarantees. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. Full detail is on the shipping and returns page, which forms part of these terms.
You may cancel an order at any time before it is dispatched, at no cost: payment is taken in cash on delivery, so nothing has been paid. Once an order has been dispatched it cannot be cancelled, returned or exchanged: our products are food, sealed at the estate. This does not affect any right you have in law where goods are defective or not as described. See the shipping and returns page.
Wholesale, private label and export orders are supplied against a separate written quote and confirmation, and the terms in that confirmation take precedence over these terms where the two differ. Trade minimums, grades and packing options are described on the wholesale page. Samples supplied before an order are indicative of the grade, not a warranty of an exact match.
The content of this website (text, photographs, artwork, the Panasva name and logo) is ours or is used with permission, and may not be copied or used commercially without our written consent. You may of course share links to it.
We try to keep the site accurate and available, but we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Nothing in these terms excludes any liability that cannot be excluded under Indian law, including under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. Subject to that, our liability arising out of an order is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Our cardamom is packed at a facility that handles spices. If you have a known allergy or sensitivity, read the pack and contact us before buying.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Idukki, Kerala.
For any question or complaint about an order, write to us or call us at the address below. We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and resolve them within one month of receiving them.
